Reporting a Safeguarding Concern

Report a concern

If you have an allegation, suspicion or concern about neglect or abuse involving a child, young person or adult at risk, please report it as soon as possible by emailing safeguarding@theramp.org.uk.

Who monitors this

This email address is monitored by our Safeguarding Lead. Where appropriate, our Safeguarding Deputy will support the management of safeguarding concerns in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.

Sharing a concern in person

If a concern is shared with a member of our staff or volunteer team in person, they will ensure the information is passed to the Safeguarding Lead promptly and ask you to complete a safeguarding report where appropriate. This helps us maintain an accurate record and respond in line with our Safeguarding Policy.

Confidentiality

Safeguarding concerns are handled sensitively and confidentially. Information is shared only with those who need to know in order to protect individuals and fulfil our safeguarding responsibilities.

If there is an immediate risk

If you believe someone is in immediate danger or requires urgent assistance, contact the emergency services by calling 999 without delay. Please also notify our Safeguarding Lead via safeguarding@theramp.org.uk.
