Our greatest step of faith, yet.

Hello Friend,

For the last eight years, Ramp Church has gathered in rented venues across Manchester. In that time, we’ve seen lives transformed, young people awakened to Jesus, and a growing community formed around prayer, discipleship, and mission.

Today, we’re out of space—and we need to expand.

We’re 18 months into our Building Campaign and over halfway towards our goal. We’re believing for a permanent home in our city—a place that allows us to grow, train leaders, and serve Manchester long-term.

This building represents our greatest step of faith yet. Not just a space for gatherings, but a base for discipleship, community engagement, justice and mercy initiatives, and kingdom—centred partnerships.

We’re grateful to be on this journey with you.

Why a new building?

A new building would allow us to expand every area of our mission. Alongside church gatherings, it facilitates community engagement, justice and mercy initiatives, civic partnerships, and more — all powered by the supernatural fuel of prayer.

When the church is equipped every day of the week, cities are changed.

Our building will become a full-time training hub — hosting equipping events for our 500+ young adult community, supporting our youth mentorship programme, and forming Jesus-followers who live out their faith in everyday life.

A vibrant, permanent church presence points to the life available in Jesus.

From cafes to co-working, mentorship groups to justice initiatives, this space will meet people where they are and invite them into gospel-centred living. Our local presence declares God's faithful love for Manchester.

With in-built entrepreneurship, the new building provides streams of income that fuel more mission and aren't solely dependent on donations — helping Ramp Church remain healthy, stable, and future-focused.

“What is the character of this revival? It is a Church revival. I do not mean by that merely a revival among church members. It is that, but it is held in church buildings. Now, you may look astonished, but I have been saying for a long time that the revival which is to be permanent in the life of a nation must be associated with the life of the churches.”

Do you see the vision?

Just to be clear, though . . . A building isn’t the answer. But it is an essential and powerful tool for transformation. A building is a centre of operations; a house of prayer for all nations; a spiritual portal; a meeting place; an all-access lobby for the people of Manchester to explore faith together; it's a place where the spiritual atmosphere is cultivated and fashioned into a thin place; encounters with God’s presence are expected, easy, and evident; it’s a place where people’s stories are re-written, exact seats and squares of carpet are remembered as the spot someone found Jesus, tasted freedom, were sent out as ambassadors of life; the place where a conversation started that became someone's first healthy relationship; the place divine strategy was given for a kingdom-centred enterprise; the place where a word from God was heard to sell all and follow. A building isn’t the answer, but it becomes a house of answers—a place dense with memories, every fibre of the seats and walls witnesses to God’s eternal promises spoken, declared, and sung. It’s not the answer, but it’ll be the place your best friend finally gives their life to Jesus; it’ll be the place your child forms life-long memories watching their parents cry and dance in God’s presence; it’ll be the place where, after a full conference of young people came without a notion of God or his plan, they get lost in his presence, dancing and singing in complete freedom and abandonment to God. No, a building isn’t the answer, but the God of answers will dwell with his people there.
